Lakeside Fire Pit & Seating Wall

The brief

An open lakeside lawn with no defined gathering space: soft ground sloping toward the water, full exposure to sun and wind, and nothing to hold furniture level through Florida’s wet season.

The build

We cut a level circular terrace into the slope over a compacted base, laid concrete pavers in a radial pattern, and built the fire pit and curved seating wall from matching wall block — so the whole composition reads as one piece of masonry rather than added furniture.

The result

A gathering place that works year-round: seating for a crowd, a fire at the center, and the lake as the fourth wall. No cushions to chase, nothing to rust, nothing to mow around.
